Information, not advice

The calculators show arithmetic based on the numbers you enter and the rules we cite. They are not legal, tax or payroll advice, and they do not decide what your employer owes you. For a decision about your pay, use your employer's payroll records and, if needed, the government agency or an adviser.

Rules can change

Each rule shows its official source and the date we last checked it. Laws, rates and your own job's terms (a contract, a union agreement or a state rule we do not cover) can differ from what a calculator assumes. Check the source before you rely on a result.

Mistakes

We test the calculations and fix confirmed errors. If you think a result is wrong, use the 'Report a problem' link on the tool or email hello@paycheckhours.com.

Free to use

The site is free. We plan to pay for it with ads and with clearly labelled referral links to some apps; a referral never changes a calculation. Your numbers stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

Our responsibility

We provide the site as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions made using a result. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
